An eroding stream bank was re-sloped and vegetated with help from the Boy Scouts, and under the supervision of staff from the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

A raingarden was created at Westover Park to filter runoff from a large parking lot.

A raingarden was created to filter the runoff from the parking lot in Liberty Park.

A concrete retaining wall was removed, and the bank sloped to support a riparian buffer along Blacks Run in Liberty Park.

This stream bank planting project occurred at Liberty Park, and the West side of Blacks Run at Lineweaver Apartments.

This stream bank planting project occurred behind the City of Harrisonburg's Public Works Department.

We are devoted to improving the health of our local waterways. In addition to our efforts to educate each other on how we can stop sources pollution, we have been able to complete a number of projects that have improved the heath of our stream.
