Rain Barrel Workshop

The City of Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a Rain Barrel Workshop on April 19, 2017 at the Westover Cecil F. Gilkerson Community Activities Center from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
During the workshop participants will:
- Convert a heavy plastic pickle barrel into a functional rain barrel
- Learn how to install and maintain a rain barrel
- Learn how they impact their local waterways
- Learn their role in water conservation and water quality protection
- Learn how to receive Stormwater Utility Credits for installed rain barrels
Registration for one rain barrel and up to two participants is $60.
